HEYAYE!!my name is amanda and i am 13
i am sadly not a gold member and me, just joining, am not totally sure on how this system works.
what im getting is that i cannot contact sum1. only a gold member can contact me.
yeah, that sux.
so i am putting this out to increase my chances of getting someone SOON!!
hey, if you teach me spanish, i'll teach you english
...or any1 can just help me and explain how this site works.

Ok here's how it works. There are like 3 gold members here and hundreds more regular members. We all post our desperate requests for contact and wait for one of the 3 (or 4 or 50) to find us out of the hundreds (or thousands?).
Not much hope. I was lucky enough to be contacted. but only by one person.
If you want to learn spanish I recommend listening to spanish music/radio, bilingual books, movies, and pimsleur program (check your library) in addition to this site. If there's anything specific that you want to ask, people can help you on the board. However most people aren't welcoming the idea of teaching whole lessons here... I wonder why?

I have the same problem than you for learning english in this format and I want to contact with someone to teach me english, but I'm not a gold memeber.
If you want I can help you to learn spanish, I'm not a teacher or something similar but we can exchange our acknowledge about respective languages.
I'm from Barcelona more exactly from a small city near to Barcelona.

I am beisy from Venezuela, Aragua State, I am an English teacher trainee. I am married with kids, I would like to practice my English,talking about everything and exchanging students experiences.I like to listen to all kind of music,it depends on the moment, but heavy rock, I REALLY HATE IT. I like to watch action movie with an interesting subject. I like to walk and see the nature around. Write me soon,please.
