English native seeking Deutsch
Hiya! I'm 26 y/o London, UK native looking for a German speaking native to help me start practising in voice chat and text.

Ich spreche nicht sehr gut Deutsch. In fact - the only words I've SAID ALOUD with some success are "Ja, Nein and Software-Aktualisierung" which is my favourite sounding word/s so far! For me speaking German is utterly erschreckend! I just sat here for 5 mins contemplating even pronouncing that word. I am as English as English can get. Ich trinke Tee. Ich esse Crumpets. Ich kann nicht aussprechen Rot, Regen, Referend, Trinke, Crumpets, Februar oder anything with a glottal R in it. BUT I am from London so I do both a Cockney and Estuary accent all thanks to my grandmother being a very strict English teacher + 5 years of being a presenter. I can teach you grammar and PROPER English pronunciation if a good accent is all you are after. I can't offer any money as I'm very poor/unemployed currently but I can offer animal pictures for your entertainment since I own a menagerie of exotic animals.

I was thinking we could have regular 1 hour sessions focusing on each-other for 30mins each in voice chat with some text chat/basic emails between. You don't have to teach me grammar - just conversational skills and pronunciation. I can self-learn grammar and just try to apply it as I progress. We can go over basic conversation or do some reading to each other to help smooth out our accents. (Honestly it'll be hilarious for you because I feel very hopeless in pronouncing anything right but I'll try!) NOTE: the past I've had pen-pals that expected too much of me too soon or criticise me for not responding to their large, complicated walls of text and expect me to still respond ONLY in German when I barely know basics :<. Werde ich jemals Regen richtig ausspricht? :'<

Thanks for reading!
