Hey!! I couldn't help but reply for a couple reasons. Eins, we have the same name. Yours is spelled a little differently but I'm pretty sure they're pronounced the same. Zwei, we're the same age. Drei, you're looking for English speakers and are from the USA, of which I am both, and more than willing to help you. Vier, I don't think I know enough German to converse but I want to learn and I'm interested in Germany in general.
So since I'm new I don't really know what the best way to talk to you is but I'd love to talk some more! Hope to talk soon!

Well I spend most of my time these days doing something with my friends. They go somewhere pretty much everyday lol. I spend the rest of my time on the computer, either reading manga (japanese comics) online, watching stuff on youtube, talking to my friends on aim, or attempting to learn various languages with the help of websites. Yes I am nerdy enough to actually try learning languages off the internet. But that's how I learned the minimal amount of German I know (and German music helped too), so it works to some extent.
So how about you?

You have a very nice hobby. In germany is soccer a very popular sport. sometimes i think all german people love it lol.
And where do you go snowboarding, is the winter in california so cold? I thought you have the compleate year the same clima.

Ich heiße Natalie und ich bin 16 Jahre alt. Ich wohne in California wie Shawna. Sie können auf die Bergen snowboarden (made that up lol, I have no idea how to say snowboard) nur im Winter wann es ist kalt. Ich habe kein Deutsch gestudiert in der Schule, aber meine Freunde gehen nach Deutschland der (next) Sommer mit ihre Klasse. Sie sind sehr glücklich, sie wollen das Bier trinken lol.
That's pretty much the best I can do. Yeah, sehr schlecht. But I'm sure I'll get better once I start studying it in school (which I will this coming year).

I hate that we can't write our email addresses in the boards!! They are only doing this so they can force us to pay...it sucks!!
Well, my only thought is asking a gold member to message one of us with the others email address. The problem is it's kind of an awkward thing to ask lol. So do you know any gold members well enough for it not to be awkward? Or maybe you don't find it awkward at all and you can ask them anyway? If not I suppose I'll dare it...
Other than that, we have to trick the system somehow. I don't know exactly how heavily it's monitered though, so I'm not sure what will trick it and what won't. Some funky wording could work.

Yes, I'm on summer vacation right now, and have been for about a month. It's been a lot of fun! I'm not looking forward to going back to school. But for your second question, do you mean what classes I'm taking next year?
English fun fact: While German speakers use the world for "visit" (besuchen) when refering to classes, English speakers use "take" (nehmen). So like I wrote above, it would be "to take classes" not "to visit classes."
