Hey you guys!
I was walking home one day and I saw a friend of mine spraying something on a wall. He said he saw it in a book and that it was a 'hiku', except he didn't know what it meant. He asked me and I don't know either. So it goes like this I think:

Gracias por tu traducción. El texto lo escribí con la intención de ayudar a una muchacha que es trabajadora Social, habla Inglés y está aprendiendo Español.
Lamento no poder ayudarte con Italiano. Una vez visité Italia y solo comía lo de "La Carta" o "El Menú del Día" porque no tenía material para escoger lo que en realidad deseaba comer.
Te voy a enviar algo de arte de Italia, en Inglés para cuando puedas, me hagas el favor de revisarlo y así vas investigando algo del arte italiano. En mi opinión personal, la mas bella de las ciudades italianas es FLORENCIA, más que Venecia y la misma Roma.
Cuando les hables bien el Italiano, los vas a impresionar pues ellos pasan 20 y 30 años viviendo acá, en Venezuela y nunca aprenden a hablar correcto el español.

does anybody know of any good programs that teach german??
i really want to learn about german culture and the german language, i dont know much, just a couple of phrases, they dont have the course at my school, and my parents dont let me transfer schools... i'm kind of stuck, also, i'm not a gold member so i cant contact any of the members on this site unless they contact me first. well, if anyone can help me out, i'm willing to teach spanish, and english :) thanks

Yo soy latina, de Venezuela. Si tú quieres podemos practicar, si deseas aportar Inglés. ¿Cuál es tu nivel de Español?
Si puedes ve a BBoard y busca en OTHERS un texto con el título Visitando al Doctor, es fácil y es el vocabulario usado cuando necesitas un Doctor.
Si te gusta la música, trata de copiar el nombre de una canción de moda, luego vas al BBoard y escribes acerca de esa canción , quien la canta si es un grupo o un cantante solo, mujer u hombre y por alli puedes empezar.
Si la TV por cable tiene programas parecidos a los de Latinoamérica ¿Conoces alguna de las series de SONY, o the WB,?
¿Te gusta la serie de los casos del Hospital, la llamada ER?
No es facil comenzar los contactos, pero una vez que uno encuentra la forma, puede ser de interés para las dos. Hay muchos temas que no ienen edad, como Cine, Música, Poesía, Artes, Noticias,
Los locos de Hollywood, los problemas del planeta y mas.

¿cuál es tu nombre ? No pienso que tu nombre sea b, solamente.
Para comenzar a aprender español puedes escribir algo como:
Hola mi nombre es ----- Estoy comenzando a aprender Español.Quiero conseguir , o quiero encontrar un Penpal que quiera enseñarme Español. A cambio yo puedo enseñarle Inglés, que es mi lengua nativa.
Tengo 17 años, estoy estudiando en el Colegio ...., en la ciudad de .... El Español lo quiero aprender porque es materia de estudio. O..
Quiero entender español porque me gustaría hacer amistades con algunos de los muchachos y muchachas (jóvenes) que viven por aca cerca de mi Colegio. o Porque quiero conocer personas de sitios lejanos y ampliar mi mundo.
Me gusta la música ..... La musica mexicana no me gusta, si me gusta . Es alegre, divertida. O es como para hombres tomando licor y para personas que han perdido un amor.

Antiguamente, todas las formas de filantropía y de caridad (realizadas por personas sin formación pero con conciencia social) eran consideradas como un trabajo social. El objetivo era resolver los problemas inmediatos de los necesitados sin modificar sus causas. Posteriormente, el gran volumen de estudios sociales realizados ha permitido analizar los desajustes sociales y económicos de la sociedad moderna en un esfuerzo por ayudar al máximo a las personas necesitadas y a toda la comunidad.

Yes, mandarin is our official language here. It is widely used here, however, you may find Hokkien is more popular in southern Taiwan. Well, people here don't really think we are part of China as we have completely system. We just had president election in March but none of people from China can vote here unless they are citize of R.O.C. FYI.
