Re:Diffrent greetings
Hello!
> How many diffrent greetings are ther in > Japanese? > In english there's good day, hello, hi, > good evening.... the list goes on.
The number of formally or commonly used greetings is about the same as in western languages, and they are also more or less similar in meaning. But in every language it is possible to invent new greetings for cultural subgroups or for once-only use, so there is no maximum number.
