Re:Does anyone know a good book????
I can think of alot of good books. If you like vampires, then, maybe you enjoy fantasy novels. Philip Pullman's Dark Materials Trilogy is really good. As for mysteries, I like Sue Grafton and Anne Perry.

i also like Kathy Reichs´ books . But if you really like thriller
you have to read Patricia Conwell , Henning Mankell´s "midsummermurder" ( or so the german title is " Mitsommermord )was my first thriller and if you like to read something about a detective who is ... how should i explain it ... different , then you should read Henning Mankell`s Kurt Wallander books !

I recommend.
I'm from Brazil and today i've finisched a Tale book wrote by Lygia Fagundes Telles, i don't know if it is easy to find in another language but i've heard that there is book of her in englisch, french and german. Her books are really deep, the atmosphere and what the character feel is the most important.

Re:HI !!
As I recall it was all a trick. There was a dog but it was a real dog released to appear to appear to be the spirit hound. However, in combination with the legend, it was enough to scare people to death. There is a long lost heir waiting in to inherit the Lord's wealth after he is scared to death.

Re:Does anyone know a good book????
Hey there!

I would recommend the books of Jostein Gaarder (author of the best-selling book - Sophie's World). My personal favorite is the Solitaire Mystery. His books have a touch of his philosophy.

There's another book written by Vikas Swarup entitled "Q&A". This is a story of a boy who was taken and imprisoned because the producer of a quiz show can't believe his luck when that boy won a billion rupees. Now, he tells his stories -- his life stories --- and how his life experiences made him a winner of the show!

And also the book of Ha Jin entitled "Waiting". This is a story of a guy who waited 18 years to divorce his wife so he can marry another woman. This is a different love story.

Re:I translated a poem in Korean into English.
Hi Gene,

Im interested in poems. It's an art of language....but im not really familiar with korean poems and poets. I've found a korean poem translated in english before and I think it's something new for me.

I'd like to have some poems translated from you. Really appreciate it. You can introduce me some korean poets as well.

I like this poem:

DREAMS by Langston Hughes

Hold fast to dreams,
For if dreams die,
Life is a broken-winged bird,
That cannot fly.

Hold fast to dreams,
For when dreams go,
Life is a barren field,
Frozen with snow.
