I am a beginner at Japanese, I do know mostly hirigana.
I' ve always wanted to learn Japanese but never fully acted on it because I fear self-teaching will only leave me with a poor understanding of proper speech, I also think think having a knowledge of a second language would be a useful life and career skill, and thirdly I would like to learn as much as I can before I work-holiday in Japan in about 6+ months.
I don't know any Japanese so I don't think I have an area I need to improve yet, I am also looking to learn many Kanjis before my trip as I would like to at least be able to read some things.
Between work and school I'm willing to dedicate as much time as you can provide, my wallet can provide and my mind can take.
Caring and patient since I'm a klutz, As much care as possible in making sure I won't be just hearing What? over and over when I try and speak in Japan, and able to provide me with enough work as I need.

Purpose for Learning = to do free medical clinics and Sunday School activities in Guatemala
Greatest Need = Everyday conversation (medical vocabulary not necessary); have taken Spanish lessons before, but unable to get over the hurdle of aural understanding
Time available for lesons = 5 classes a week for one or two weeks during this summer, then 1 class a week thereafter

I am looking for a Greek tutor for myself and my children. My husband is Greek and we would like to learn the language. I think it would be beneficial for all of us to speak Greek as we plan to travel more often to Greece in the future. Plus, the language is part of my children's heritage.
I am looking for a situation where all of us can learn at the same time. I think lessons once a week would be good. I would prefer it in my home, but we can also travel to the teachers place of work.
