I learned Russian by ear when I was a little girl, however I have lost most of it. My understanding is really strong still, but I cannot speak well myself. I have never learned how to read or write, and I would love the opportunity to learn how.

Eva, our daughter, grew up in China and has excellent spoken, written and reading skills, but we have been away for a year, and she has become rusty. We have a curriculum which she could follow, and she is also looking to get additional assistance in vocabulary review and to have fun (in Mandarin). I lived in Moscow for two years and throughly enjoyed it. While there, I increased my knowledge of Russian but since coming back I find I do not have a lot of opportunities for concentrated study. I fear that I'm losing my active knowledge of the language (I can read without any problems) and want to continually push my boundaries and not fall back on my strengths.
I am at an advanced level and would be willing to dedicate 30 minutes to an hour a day on my Russian (doing everything from passively reading to active listening, grammar exercises and watching movies).
I 'm looking for a teacher that I can build a good working relationship with for a long period of time. I am a very dedicated and committed individual and want to pursue my studies of this enjoyable and intricate language.

I am learning German because I want to be able to speak more than one language. I chose German because I have German friends and work for a German company. I am a beginner, and know just a few basic phrases and words. I would like to work on both grammar and conversation. I am looking for a teacher that is very good at explaining things and is either native German or has been teaching German for a long time. It is very important to me to learn it right the first time.
