I currently live in Basel, Switzerland and would like to learn German to aid me at work and in everday situations. Through my company, I have taken one 10 week course that met once a week for 1.5 hours. I have a very small vocabulary and have just started learning the actual grammar rules (dative versus accusative objects). Unfortunately , I am not able to continue with the next set of official courses but would like to continue on my own and need help in all areas (vocabulary, grammar, etc). My work schedule varies, but I would like to dedicate more than one lesson per week, at least 2 if not 3, as reinforcement really helps with retaining the lessons.

Hi,
We are a married couple of medical doctors, ages 43 (him) and 31 (her) willing to study Norwegian in order to become fully functional in a Norwegian hospital.
Until now we have studied from Pimsleur's Norwegian - an excellent beginner's level CD - and from 'Ny i Norge' book and CDs.
Berli tz language school in Oslo estimates that we are at a level of 3 out of 10, where 10 is someone born and raised in Norway who went to university there.
We are looking for one or two private tutors in Oslo who are available to teach us six hours per day - for up to four weeks.
We will be in Oslo from May 16 to June 11, 2010. We are also interested in accomodation.
Our goal is to progress to level 7 out of 10 in the four weeks we will be in Oslo.
