Hi there.
I would like to learn Khmer.
Rea sons - I have a good understanding of the language already as I have lived in Cambodia for over a year and a half. I'm a Primary school teacher in Bangkok and will be living here for a long time. I know Khmer / Thai are closely related : learning one compliments the other. I also don't want to lose the knowledge I've already built up!
I would say I'm 'Intermediate ', I know the alphabet and vowels, and can read it rather well. Can write too!
I would like to improve on everything!lo l! I'd say reading and writing is key to learning a language along with grammar...
I'm already learning Thai and could fit Khmer around these lessons. Perhaps two lessons a week, 2 hours each time...This could increase...
I'm located near the Asoke / Sukhumvit area. Hope to hear from someone soon!

I'm studying 'Russian language' at the University Copenhagen at the time. The reason i'm contacting you is that I will be working outside Bangkok (100 km north of Bangkok) from the 1st of february to september 2013.
This means that i'm going to be selfstudying in this period, but I really need some practical conversation- training to improve my russian.
I also need help with my grammar, pronounciatio n an so on....I'm a beginner :-)
In june I will have to return to Denmark to take my russian examination, so I will need help from february to june.

I plan on moving to Malaysia in a year or two. I wish to learn Mandarin prior to this. I work 8:30-5, Mon-Fri, so lessons will have to be evenings. I am a complete beginner. I wish to learn to speak, read and write Mandarin. I have learnt Thai in the last year, including to read and write it, so I believe I am capable of applying myself to learn Mandarin. I am looking for someone who will teach in a friendly way, but also push me to learn quickly.
