I am wanting to learn Croatian or Serbian. My mum was born over there and my baba lives with us, they speak sometimes but more English so my brother and I can understand. My mum and I just came back from visiting family over there and I was always left out so would like to understand more for next time. I guess you could say I'm a beginner. I know a few bits and bobs, but definitely can't fluently speak it. I work full time so maybe Saturday or Sundays, 3 hours?? I'm not sure how this works so respect your recommendatio ns. I'd like a patient, friendly, open minded teacher! Can't wait to hear back, Thank You!

My husband is Serbian and we would like to teach our children his native language. I am interested in taking classes as well. I'm familiar to some phrases and greetings, but nothing else. We live at Ft Meade and hoping to find someone close to us so we can have in-person classes. I'm willing to stick with all the courses. I would like to be able to read and speak conversationa l Serbian.
We hope to find an instuctor that is supportive, with a lot of patience. We are committed to learning this language and will take these classes very seriously.

My Serbian is rudimentary at best, which is why I would like to improve on it, and learn to speak and write fluently.
I am also interested in learning Cyrillic ( apologise if that isn't the correct spelling)
I would like to have 1-2 lessons a week, in person, either, at that the tutors residence or a nearby library.
