I can speak Punjabi and English fluently and I need to learn how to speak and write Hindi for my future career goals. I would like to learn Hindi by next May since that is when I graduate from Sac State. I am willing to spend 2-8 hrs per week in class to learn the language. My proficiency level is that of a beginner.
I work with college-level international students, and most of my students come from India. I would like to be able to relate to them better, and I believe that learning Hindi would help me to do that.
I need improvement in all areas: reading, vocabulary, grammer, and conversation.
I could devote 2-3 hours for lessons per week.
I would like my teacher to be patient and understanding .
