I would like to continue to learn Italian at a beginners level. I have taken a few courses over the last year but I need more vocabulary. I've learned basic grammar.I am willing to dedicated several hours a week to both lessons and study. I am looking for a teacher in Ottawa area who teaches in a relaxed and possibly fun way. (I don't learn languages very quickly under pressure.)

My interest in foreign languages is a personal interest which I hope to develop into a professional resource at a later time. I currently have practically no foreign language experience save for the Spanish course from my days in high school. This makes all areas of the language studies areas that I need to improve. My ability to allot time to my Language studies is dictated by my full time job as well as my full time formal educational pursuits. Once commenced I will not take lightly any requirements for studying the language, but I will need flexibility for certain periods of time and understanding that I may not be able to dedicate 20 hrs a week to this particular study.
As far as an instructor is concerned I take feedback very seriously and expect to be informed when I am not doing something correctly, but I also expect to be shown respect for my attempt to learn despite any difficulties which may present themselves through the learning process.
I also have an associate interested in learning as well and would like to be able to include this individual in the learning process so either private instruction or instruction with this associate is preferred to open classes/large r groups.
