I have just completed my first semester in spanish in a local college in california (my current residence). There i learnt the present tense forms of various verbs (ar, er, ir, stem-changing , irregular etc...) different types of adjectives, ser, estar rules and some vocabulary.
two primary reasons for learning language - part of college requirement starting Jan 2006 is to pass level 3 (have some sample questions to check the level). Also now interested in learning spanish as i like learning new things.
I will be in chennai for about 2-3 months in oct-dec 2005 - i can spend as much time as is possible to learn spanish since i dont have much else to do.
I am ok with group lessons. The instructor preferably should have lived in spanish-speak ing country or very well versed with the language - reasonable experience (say 5 yrs) would be good.
