My name is Heather Thistle, I am very interested in learning how to speak, read, write, and, understand Portuguese because I have future plans of being an elementary school teacher in Portugal. I am currently graduating this year from York University, and I plan to travel overseas to gain experience in teaching English in foreign countries. I believe that having a foundation of Portuguese before I begin teaching in Portugal will not only help me understand and help me relate to people; but will also all me to maximize my interaction with the children to help them learn English. I also believe that being able to speak another language may open up many job opportunities and increase my ability to understand other languages such as Spanish.

Jag har i många år viljat läara mig tala & gärns skriva på portugiska.
Men de verkar inte så lätt att hitta nång stans att läsa portugiska. Jag har vi två tillfälen besökt Brasilien och e vet att de iinte är så enkelt att ta sig fram på engslaks. Skulle gärna vilja lära mig portugiska så jag kan vista en längre period ev flyttat till landet.
Vi l helt enkelt lära mig kommunecara med lokabefolkeni ngn i landet. intersssanta orter är Manaus & fortaleza Gärna iunder nov 2010 & 6 månder framåt.
