I will be training an overseas team in the Ukraine as part of a new position with my company. I will need to learn the basics of Russian conversation, including business terminology pertaining to my industry [IT / Video Game Development / Wireless]. I will be managing the team virtually, however I will be communicating with them on a daily basis. I may also be travelling to the Ukraine frequently.
I have an aptitude for languages [I speak French, Hungarian, German and English], however I will need to learn Russian quite quickly. I require a teacher with reasonable hourly rates, a flexible schedule, and who has a lesson plan that is easily deliverable in person, by phone, or through email. I would like to dedicate 6-8 hours per week [if not more] over the next month to learning the basics, or at least enough to 'get by'.

With regard to the Russian language, I am an absolute beginner. I have spent a little time studying the alphabet, but I have not progressed any further than that.
My interest in learning the Russian language reflects the fact that my relationships , both social and professional, include a large number of individuals having Russian as their native tongue.
Of course, being an absolute beginner, I will require education in all areas.
Initi ally, I wish to dedicate 4 hours per week to this endeavour.
W ith regard to the qualities that I am looking for in an instructor, I suppose that's straightforwa rd. They must be able to make progress with a beginner ... a beginner who has never learned a second language.
