I will be learning Gujarati Hindi without any previous knowledge or teaching and thus as a beginner.
The main reason that I am learning Hindi is in order to be able to communicate with people in their local language. This includes friends, family, work colleagues and others. The main incentive is to simply improve relations with people. This will be helpful both socially but for purposes of undertaking official career-relate d work and for career advancement.
As I will begin with no knowledge, I will need to start (and then improve) in all areas including grammar, conversation, vocabulary etc.
I would like to dedicate at least an hour per day in study but would wish to agree this more specifically depending or circumstances .
I would look for experienced Gujarati & Hindi teachers who have well tried and tested methods of teaching. I would expect them to have a high standard of English in order that difficult areas can be explained (in English) thoroughly and I would wish them to have a good structured approach to the teaching.
