I am a native English speaker who wants to learn French because I am working with international NGOs in Geneva, and I need it for my career. I am a beginner with very basic level French language skills, i.e. I can introduce myself, order at a restaurant, ask for directions when I'm lost and know everyday words. I can dedicate 2-4 hours a day for the next 3 months (October to December 2013), and I can have a combination of live and online sessions. Lastly, I am looking for a teacher who is experienced and has a tested methodology in teaching French to an English-speak er. I would prefer someone who is structured but not rigid, i.e. someone who can adapt methods and examples to the student but has a clear structure to the sessions. And, quite importantly, a good sense of humor is always useful in these sessions.
