I am both Australian and Taiwanese. I was born and lived in Taiwan for 13 years, Australia for 12 years and Japan for the past 10 years. This year due to work I am based in Taiwan. Two years ago I went to Italy for 2 weeks and thought that I would like to be able to speak to the locals in the country side, renting a car on my next visit. I think it is easiest for me to remember a foreign language at this age, through topics that interest me, instead of just following a text book or strict grammar memorizations . I would like to learn in Italian through its music (I love opera), food (cooking, recipes, ingredients), and how people converse with each other and express their emotions.
Due to my irregular work hours and often sudden business trips, I can probably devote to approx 3 to 4 (1 hr) classes in a month.
I am looking for a teacher who enjoys broadening life through teaching and contact with his or her students, as well as have a good knowledge or passion for the topics above. This will be my first time learning Italian.

I am interested in learning Italian because my family background is of Italian origin. I would love to learn how to improve my grammar structure as well as being able to speak more confidently to my family members who are Italian.I would like to dedicate a few times a week to learning the language, I feel the more time I spend with learning, the more I will retain and remember. My friend and I would like to work with a tutor one on one. We have both had the grammatical type of study and would like to explore a natural flowing style of teaching to gain confidence in speaking.
Her boyfriend is Italian and she would like to gain confidence in speaking with him and his family. I took Italian in college but had my head stuck in a book and have no real ability to speak freely.
We would like to take the session together so we can practice together. We would like a tutor for at least 1 hour, 1-2 days per week.
We are available in the evening and weekends, I work full time but if need be could skip away for one hour.
