Hi!
My name is Paul Lanners and I am born in Luxembourg. My native language is Luxembourgish ( it is not listed above!). I also speak very fluently German,French and English. I can also communicate in some lesser extent in Polish and Italian.
I would like to deepen my konwledge of the Polish language. I started to learn Polish at Strasbourg University in 2010 in a language course offered by the university ( 2 hours of lessons and 1 hour workshop,mean ing talking actively). I attended the language course for 3 semesters, then I had to stop it due to time constraints ( my main studies are economics). In summer 2010, I attended a 1-month language course at the university of Wrocław in order to improve my Polish and my knowledge about Polish histiry and cukture. From the end of september 2012 until the Beginning of February 2013 I lived in Warsaw while doing an International Exchange Program (ERASMUS) at Łazarski University.
I'm already able to hold conversations with Poles without too many problems and write easy texts. I think that speaking is the most developed area of my Polish language abilities, followed by Listening, Reading and finally writing and Grammar.
I would like to improve my Polish in all areas. I have got already several study books to work on but I would like to attend language courses with a private teacher in order to get more help and guidelines how to pursue my goal of mastering the Polish language in all areas. I also want not to lose what I have already learnt so far. I could imagine to do eventually an international ly accepted language certificate for Polish (like the TOEFL-Test) in the near future. I believe that the best way to maintain my strong ties to Poland only goes through a thorough mastering of its language ( and of course by maintaining contact with people from there).

I am looking for a enthusiastic teacher for private or group lessons to learn Polish. I am wanting to enhance my conversationa l skills in Polish as my boyfriend is Polish and would like to be able to converse with him and his family in their native speaking language (Polish).
My proficiency level is beginner, however I am fairly familiar with greetings and numbers.
I would love to work on conversationa l topics and linking words to form sentences.
