I am a beginner of Russian, who knows the very basics. Greetings, Most of the Alphabet and few common verbs and phrases.
M y finace is Russian and has tried to teach me but I think that I need to learn from a third party as we are too easily distracted and most attempts to learn Russian properly end up in calamity.
I am serious about learning as her family do not all speak English and would very much like to hold my own conversation with them.
The areas I want to focus on are vocabulary and forming communicative sentances that are not necessarily grammatically correct, I feel that grammar is something that should be focused on in intermediate to advanced stages.
I am looking to spend a couple of hours a week, preferably weekday evenings and I am hoping that my teacher is quite laid back and not too argumentative .

Hi, my name is Mark Hodgson, I am looking to learn French alongside my girlfriend Amy, as we are planning on moving to France in approx 1 year. We are both complete begginers and would like to become avanced enough to be able to work in France without language being an issue. I am a chef therefore I work different days in different weeks. So if possible I would like to be able to arrange lssons on a weekly basis with my tutor. I would like to have 2 lessons a week at least. I am looking for a confident teacher who has the desire to bring myself and Amy on as quickly and as well as possible.
