I have lived in Portugal for 4 years and wish to improve my spoken Portuguese. I have studied at intermediate level (Coimbra University - portugues para estrangheiros ) and have a good understanding of the grammar, but need practice in conversation. I am looking for a teacher who is willing to give weekly private lessons, or one who already has a small group of students at a similar level that I could join. Fluency in English not necessary as I would prefer lessons to be totally in Portuguese.

I would like to improve my native language which is Portuguese. Through the years I have lost the correct way to speak it and my grammar and sentences aren't exactly spoken correctly. I would like to improve my Portuguese skills so I am able to do business conversations as well as read and write with the proper grammar. I work full time but do have access to computer at most times. I would like the teacher to be strong in their teaching skills and very informative about the proper use and speaking of Portuguese.

I would like to learn portuguese as I need to communicate in my personal life in the language. I am a beginner. I particularly like to learn conversation, pronunciation and a grammar too. I would like to learn the language in about a year. I can dedicate an hour each day and about 2 hours each on Saturday and Sunday. My instructor should be very well versed in proper pronunciation . He or she should also know English to make me understand, be fluent with portuguese slang and conversationa l Portuguese.
