I would love to become fluent in Italian for many reasons. Most importantly because I lived a winter semester in Florence, Italy, where I took culinary and arts classes. My time in Italy had such a profound impact on me that it is my hopes to live there one day. I am currently opening a clothing boutique in Sacramento and think knowing Italian would only be beneficial incase I choose to do business there or eventually move there. Aside from all of that, I have a passion for languages, culture and learning new things. I finally have some time to fully commit to learning this language not only for what I previously mentioned, but because I just genuinely want to learn it. I have no previous background in Italian language classes, however I have taken Spanish and French and find that I am confident in learning languages when I have time to dedicate to them. I hope to meet 1-2 times a week and am looking for a teacher who is as passionate about teaching the language, as I am to learn it.

Learning a new language for me is a point of improving my personality. I believe that I can do what I really like, and I like to listen for those who speak Italian, and I like Italy, so I picked it specifically. I am totally biggener, and have around one month right now. I can contiue later after few months. The main thing I want to learn how to understand and speak, conversation. I am visiting Italy in September/oct ober for 10 days and woul like to learn some basics. I am a beginner. I would like to do a 6 week course for 1-2 hr a week before sep 20.
