I am a complete beginner. I wish to learn Mandarin for fun as well as career advancement. I am hoping to meet a teacher with a reasonable rate that is willing to teach me from scratch. I am hoping to be able to travel and study with the teacher in person either during the fall or summer. Prior to that we can initially do some online work but that will be limited to one small session per week.

I will be graduating soon and would like to learn these languages due to the nature of my job and also my personal interest as well. I have a basic knowledge of Mandarin, probably to the Level of Standard 2-3 and I speak fairly well. As for Japanese, I am totally new to this language. I would like to focus on both written and spoken. Also, I would like to have lesson 3-4 times a week, prefably on weekdays.
