I have always been fascinated with Japanese culture and took basic lessons in my first year in High School but since then I have not done much study in the language.
I hope one day to work and live in Japan and full immerse myself in Japanese culture.
M y proficiency level is beginner I know very basic words and phrases. I love anime especially Naruto which I think has helped me with pronunciation
With my busy schedule I would be looking at dedicating around 5 hours a week. I was thinking along the lines of one lesson a week after work and rest would be learning at home and I am about to make some hiragana flash cards to teach me.
Qualit ies of teacher would be friendly and easy to get along with but also tough. I think a Teacher that is Japanese would be hugely beneficial.

Hello,
I am an American/Fren ch girl living in switzerland since I was 13. I have recently graduated from high school with an IB diploma. Since I was 17 years old I have become interested in Japanese culture and language.
After graduating, I left to Tokyo for 3 months to learn Japanese in a Language school. I fully enjoyed this experience and plan on returning this summer to continue the course. However in the mean time I would like to continue to converse in Japanese and study weekly with a native Japanese speaker.
As of now I am an advanced beginner, I know Hiragana and Katakana.
I would like to take lessons between 1 - 2 of 1 hour a week, in person. Morges would be my preferred lesson location, however anything relatively close is O.K.
