I learned grade 10 nd 11 Spanish in school but I have forgotten almost all of it now so I want to re learn it from the beginning.
I am learning it because it is a nice language and I want to be able to talk to my Columbian friend in her language and then we can also go to Mexico together.
I need the most improvement with grammar
I want to dedicate monday and wednesday morning and afternoon (Its the only time I am not at work, but if I find I need more time I will take less hours on certain other days to have more time for learning.
In a spanish teacher I would prefer someone who is fluent in spanish and english and lessons that will reflect back as they progress so I do not forget anything

I am not an absolute beginner as I have been listening to self-help courses in the car for a few years and using reference books from time to time.
I love to travel and enjoy it much more if able to converse with locals.
An evening class once a week is all I can dedicate.
I would like a personalized approach because there is much I don't know and quite a bit that I do know. I obviously would like to concentrate on that which I don't.

Hi,
I'm a student at carleton, taking a year off right now.
I'm planning on travelling to South America later this winter. I just want to pick up some very basic Spanish before i leave.
I would want to focus on conversation and areas that would be practical for a traveller. e.g. food, money, transportatio n.
I would want to meet with a teacher for one or two hours a week in the Carleton or downtown area.
