I don't have any background yet with Mandarin Language but i would like to learn it for personal use and hopefully for career enhancement purposes.
Best time for me is weekend and some weekdays after work can be arranged accordingly.

My proficiency level is beginner. I'd like to learn Mandarin because I just returned from Beijing where I was taking summer classes and I'd like to return someday. I'd like to focus on gaining the ability to converse in mandarin. I'd like to meet once or twice a week for an interdetermin ed amount of time. My wife and I would like to learn Mandarin jointly. I am developing healthcare management-re lated business opportunities in Shanghai and Beijing. I have visited China twice in the past 18 months. The last visit was last week to Shanghai. We intend to make several more trips over the next year. Our level of proficiency is beginner. We are willing to dedicate 8-10 hrs per week to lessons and practice.
We would like a tutor who is personable, respectful but disciplined and is versed in adult learning styles. The tutor should also be willing to teach using movies, newspapers, books, poems and other cultural approaches in addition to textbooks.
