We are three professional translators, who wish to develop Bulgarian as a working language. Our main aim is to reach the point of being able to translate Bulgarian texts into English, but we would also like to learn conversation skills. We are all already proficient in Russian. Dear Sir/Madam,
We are three translators who wish to learn Bulgarian for professional purposes. One of us spent a year in Bulgaria in the 1970s and has a basic knowledge of the language; the other two of us know Russian to degree level but little or no Bulgarian. Our main aim is to be able to translate texts from Bulgarian into English, but we would also be interested in learning the spoken language.
We would like to spend one hour or one hour thirty minutes per week on language lessons, preferably at lunchtime.
We are looking for a teacher who will understand our background and our specific needs.
