I am basically from India. I happened to watch the brazilian movie 'cidade de deus' with English subtitles. since then i have a like for brazilian language. Also the english translated books of Paulo Coelha (originally brazilian), like Alchemist, Eleven minutes also inspired me a lot. Right now I am in canada on a official trip, so thought I do have some time in weekends to learn the language.
What I expect from the coaching.?
Understand and speak the language.

I am interested in learning Portuguese as both a hobby and for possible use in international business. I am an intermediate level student, based on a language placement I took at a school in Rio after 1 week of instruction in December. This followed previous classes on line and in person and a background with Spanish. I am interested in reviewing grammar and practicing on speaking, listening, and writing during classes, which I prefer to take via Skype evenings or weekends.
