Mainly i deal with Italians for the job as i work for Italian company, and for business it's even more embarrassing to use Italian, as i need to have free communication .

Hello,
On October 2013 I am planning a trip to Rome and I would love to learn to speak the language. I would like an in depth understanding and usage of the language. I am a beginning learner. I have purchased Rosetta Stone; however, I would love a broader understanding of when to use Lei, Lui, or un, uno, una and il and la as well as how to form sentences. I want to understand why nouns and verbs conjugate a certain way as well as build my vocabulary. As I have noted above I have one year to learn enough Italian to visit, shop and interact with native Italians. However, I would love to continue my lessons upon returning to the United States, so I may become profecient. The qualities I need in a teacher would be someone who is patient and who can expalin very well.

My wife & I would like to learn Italian for the purpose of travel & perhaps career advancement. We are both beginners looking to perhaps have 1-2 hours per week to dedicate to lessons however this is flexible.
