Hey,
I've always told myself I would have to learn Portuguese eventually. I am learning Portuguese to communicate better with my family and a have a stronger sense of my culture.
I can understand most of what is being said in Portuguese and can speak very basic survival Portuguese. Or like a child. :) I have an easier time understanding Continental Portuguese and Brazilian Portuguese.
I need to improve overall. I want to be able to 'think' Portuguese.
I would like 1-2 classes a week.
I am looking for a teacher who can consistently teach me the language. A Native speaker. Somebody with a plan. Confident. You must have taught at least 1 person Portuguese.

I know of only a few words in this language but wish to learn Portugese enough to carry a conversation for business and personal reasons. I am more concerned with reading and conversation and do not need to learn how to write.
I would like to take weekly lessons to allow study and practice time on my own and as I work full time and have a busy schedule.
My teacher needs to be patient and understanding .I would like to know the cost and how soon I can start.
