The reason I want to learn tagalog is because my father is from the Philippines and I never had the chance to learn it. I know basic words because I chat with someone over there in the Philippines. I also have a travel guide that helps me a little bit.
I need to work on conversation, verb tense and grammar.
D epending on my work schedule, I'm ready to spend a lot of time to be able to be confortable with the language.
I'm looking for a teacher who's patient, fun and has interesting teaching lessons.

I am a beginner with tagalog, but would like to bring myself to being fluent so I can understand and converse fully. I have a huge interest and respect in the filipino culture, and I feel that this is the next logical step. I am willing to put in as much time as necessary in order to make this happen for me. I'm not looking for much in a teacher, except native filipino and a willingness to teach.
