I have been learning Mandarin for about a year and a half now. I have already taken 3 courses through the University of Toronto continuing education program and would like to continue learning more. I have been learning on my own for a bit now, and would like something more systematic.
I am looking to improve my conversationa l skills, as well as getting a better grasp at grammar and sentence structures. I would also like to improve my understanding of a native speaker.

Absolute beginner, and I want to learn Mandarin, Cantonese, and Japanese to advance my future career options. I'm looking to dedicate about 2-6 hours a week in private lessons. I have studied mandarin for 2 years in University of Montreal and this summer I did an intensive Chinese course in Nankai University in Tianjin, China. There are no more classes available for my level at the university so I am looking for another teacher. I am learning mandarin because I am hoping to work in the field of international business in China or in cooperation with Chinese companies.
I intend to eventually become completely fluent in mandarin so I need improvement in grammar, conversation, writing and reading.
I would like to have classes 2 times a week and I am used to study chinese every day.
I find structure to be very important in a language course and I also consider it important that the teacher be able to explain new grammar using Chinese as opposed to English or French.

I have been studying Mandarin in Taiwan/China for the past two years. I guess I would be considered an intermediate Mandarin speaker. I have text books which I would like to review along with conversation practice with emphasis on expanding my vocabulary. One on one classes are good, but I'm also open to group classes with people who are at the same level.
