I would like to under more about the history, culture and current society environment of Portugal, because I live in Macau - an ex-territory which managed by Portugal.
After spending some time on lesson and self-study, I have a basic knowledge of grammar, can read some newspaper or magazine , can write some simple article but is still found difficult in conversion, especially in listening fluent and very fast broadcasting or following some conversion with unfamiliar topic.
I would like to dedicate 3 to 5 hours each week for lesson.

I am trying to learn Portuguese because my boyfriend is Brazilian and eventually I would like to move to Brazil. However, I do not have any experience in speaking Portuguese other than the very basics. I need improvements in all areas. Perhaps it would be great to start with grammer? I would like to set to meet with my teacher 2 times a week with some sort of course schedule if possible. It does not have to be formal, but I would like some direction (what to read out of the tutoring sessions, etc). For my teacher, I would like them to be patient with me. It's even hard for me to remember things in everyday life, so I may forget easily.

To learn portuguese for my career advancement. also because I stayed in Mozambique for sometime. In addition, I am also interested in French. I suppose that I am able to travel around the world with little problem with those knowledge.
By the way, my English level is limited. But I can easily communicate with English Speaking people.
