My brother and I are looking to take Dutch lessons as we are planning on moving to the Netherlands in the near future. We live in Langley, but have vehicles and are able to drive. I am a beginner and I want to learn portuguese because I'm visiting my friend in Brazil in July 2007 and I would like to be able to communicate with her family and friends that cannot speak english very well.
I would like to focus mostly on the oral aspect of the language as I'll only be conversing with people in Brazil and won't really need an in depth lesson on writing/readi ng comprehension .

I am begginer in Thai. I have been to the region a few years ago but am looking to move back in the next few months. I would like to get a basic grasp on the language and refresh myself in customs. Lao is also a very high interest of mine to learn so any teacher with an idea to combine the two will be highly respected. I have quite a bit of experience learning languages so I catch on easily.
one on one is best in my opinion. I am looking to have two one hour sessions weekly for the next three months minimum.
