German speakers?
English is pretty all I speak right now. I know about 8 words in German and wouldn't mind getting help to at least get the basics down. Preferably someone with a good sense of humor, that way I'll know we'll get along well :) If you're wanting to help someone or even just wanting some help with English, go ahead and send me a message. Or just a "hi" if you're not a gold member.

Help with Translating some Portuguese sayings
Hi everyone! We bought something that had the following phrases on it:
A pomba lava no bieo dois coracaoes suspendidos
and
separados um do outro
Moorendo (sp?) por ser unidos
Our understanding is that it is casual Portuguese and it's about love. Our understanding is also that it's a little difficult to translate into English. Can anyone help us translate?
Thanks so much in advance for your help, Matt

Re:How does Korean translate to English and vice versa?
It's like...you have an apple on the table, and an American would think as 'an apple,' a Hispanic 'una mansana.' a Korean '사과' (sa-gwa). Same thing but different pronunciation. Moreover, Korean has little bit different grammar, totally different alphabet (Hangeul) from English like other languages do.

Turkish Greetings!
Hi,
I am not a gold member so can't send any emails, but I would really love to learn Turkish. I was wondering if someone could message me with some Turkish greetings and basic phrases? How do you say 'how are you?', 'nice to meet you', 'see you soon' etc.
Thank you - I can help to teach English in return :)

Re:Re:how to say hello in korea
Yes. It is almost correct. But there are something wrong.
The correct spelling is "안녕하세요, 친구야."
Also, "Anneonghasaeyo" is higher way to say "hi". It means someone who are heard it are higher than you like a teacher or people who are older than you. A lower way to say "hi" is "Anneong"(안녕). "chingu" is usually your friend, and he or she is the same class as you. You don't need to say politely to your friend.
Thus, both of them are correct. "안녕 친구야. Anneng chinguya" or "안녕하세요Annenghasaeyo"
On the internet, you should say "안녕하세요Anneonghasaeyo" because it is a polite way.
